This tree has been painted in an evergreen color with evergreen and berries on the base with white around it. Comes with a light and set of bulbs. It does not have an opening for a star.
The bulbs above are like a candy shape. Please specify your choice if bulbs in the note section of the order. 
My mantel tree is 15" H X 10 -12" at the widest part and about 4.5" D
